Tuition

Our tuition costs are set up on a family basis and are determined by the oldest student enrolled in the academy. Tuition for the 2011-2012 school year is $816 per year for families with students in grades K - 8 and $1,020 per year for families with one or more high school students.  The tuition can be paid annually or monthly ($68/month for K-8 and $85/month for high school) to best suit the family budget.  The is school billing year runs from July to June. Tuition includes all the major services of the academy with the exception of textbooks and optional Wednesday and Thursday classes. Participation in some field trips and special activities incur a fee which is billed on the monthly statements. As always, the school offices and staff will be available on a year-round basis.

CBA provides full-time administrative and office staff, paid teachers, family consultants, centralized student records, consultation for curriculum and program development, annual standardized testing, organized field trips, student assemblies and other kinds of events and activities. CBA also provides optional junior and senior high classes, a year end promotion event, a formal senior graduation, high school semi-formal banquet, Jr./Sr. High yearbook, elementary group classes, school newsletter, legislative oversight and lots more. With all this, CBA still remains the lowest cost, full serviced, state board-recognized home-education program in Maryland.
