To check on weather related closings/cancellations call the CBA office 301-528-6705 and press 1 for “weather related schedule changes” or check the front page of this website.

Thursday Classes

As always, the Thursday Classes for Jr. and Sr. High School students are automatically cancelled if Montgomery County schools are closed for the day due to weather conditions.  If Montgomery County Schools are delayed due to weather conditions, CBA Thursday Classes will start at 10 am.   Band and Orchestra classes will be cancelled.  The rest of the day’s classes (including the second hour of the Stage Play rehearsal), will run on a normal Thursday Class schedule .  That is, all 10:00 classes will begin at 10:00 as usual, etc.  Classes will NOT be pushed back.  CBA will post a message on the CBA website and phone by 7:30 a.m. 

Wednesday Classes

The Wednesday Classes for 5 year olds through 6^th grade are cancelled if the county public schools in the county where the CBA classes are being held (Howard or Montgomery) are closed for the day due to weather conditions.   In the event of inclement weather which arrives late morning on the day of Wednesday Classes, CBA will post a message on the CBA website and phone by 11:30 a.m.
